The Key to Moesgaard

The Key to Moesgaard is a guided tour which focuses on the history of the museum and the transition from manor to modern museum with an international edge.

Learn more about the thoughts behind the museum’s exhibition building which was built by Henning Larsen Architects as well as the museum’s architecture, functionality, materials and spatiality. You will get to see parts of the museum, both inside and outside, that are usually not open to the public. We go all the way to the top floor which has a beautiful view of the old manor and the surrounding landscape which traces back to the Ice Age.

The tour concludes with a brief introduction to the exhibitions – all of which center around mankind.
