Have a safe visit to Moesgaard

Everything you need to know about Covid-19 safety precautions when you visit Moesgaard Museum

Updated January 17, 2022

Moesgaard reopens on Saturday, January 22, 2022.
On the same day, we open the doors to the new special exhibition 'RUS - Vikings in the east'.

We want to make sure that you continue to feel safe and have a good experience at Moesgaard. Here, you can read what precautions apply at the museum

Covid-passport
All guests aged 15 and over must show a valid Covid-passport when visiting the museum. You help us by having your Covid-passport ready at ticket ckeck-in.

For more information about the Government’s current precautions, please visit the authorities' information page.

Face mask

All persons over the age of 12 must wear a face mask or visor when visiting the Moesgaard Museum. The face mask can be removed when sitting down in the café area. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the staff.

Entrance ticket
You do not have to buy a ticket for a specific arrival time. However, you still have the opportunity to buy your ticket online in advance and thereby get into the museum's exhibitions faster.

Hand sanitizer, social distance, and safety
During the visit, you will have the opportunity to sanitize your hands in all exhibitions and audience areas. There are extra cleaning staff who clean all the contact surfaces at the museum many times a day.

We encourage frequent hand sanitizing and kindly ask our guests to keep social distance and take care of each other.

There are signs in all exhibitions reminding guests that they must remember to keep a social distance.

Visits to the shop, the café and the roof do not require a ticket
If you wish to visit the museum shop, the café or enjoy the fantastic view from the roof of the museum, you are free to do so without buying a ticket.
