What you need to know about lifts, dogs, bags and lots more

Lifts and elevators are present in all exhibition units. Measurements: 90 cm by 140/145 cm. Accessible toilets are found by the toilet sections. Wheelchairs are available to borrow – please ask at the Information Desk/Ticket Counter. People with a disability identification card may bring a companion or aide free of charge.

The museum is accessible for children in prams. Strollers are available to borrow. For the best possible museum experience we recommend that prams are left in the downstairs cloakroom (at own risk) and strollers and slings are used instead.

Parking and disabled parking

Parking at Moesgaard Museum is unrestricted. 420 parking spaces are available in front of the museum and at the old car park.  There are a limited number of parking spaces available for disabled visitors directly across from the museum’s entrance. The spaces are clearly marked.

If you wish to visit the museum with more than one school class (without a guided tour) we ask that you notify us of your visit in advance.

Bags and coats

Bags and overcoats must be stowed in the museum cloakroom downstairs during your visit. Here you find lockers. Lockers are free with a deposit of 10 DKK.

Dogs are not allowed inside the museum, but are welcome on the outside areas as long as they are kept on a leash. Guide and assistance dogs are welcome all over the museum.
