Exhibitions

Especially for children

The great story of you and people

In the deep layers of the past you will find inspiring activities, finds and stories that make both children and adults even more aware of all those who once lived.

In the exhibitions you can touch, listen, read, see and be part of stories from the past. We need to feel history with all our senses to understand it.

BOG BODY

Meet Grauballe Man

Come very close to the world's best-preserved bog body: Grauballe Man lived more than 2,000 years ago, when he was sacrificed to the gods in a bog - the world of the gods was beneath the surface of the water in the bog. And perhaps divine forces were at play in the bog, as it has preserved him with skin, hair and nails. Grauballe Man is a fascinating encounter with the past for both young and old.
