Exhibitions
In the deep layers of the past you will find inspiring activities, finds and stories that make both children and adults even more aware of all those who once lived.
In the exhibitions you can touch, listen, read, see and be part of stories from the past. We need to feel history with all our senses to understand it.
SPECIAL EXHIBITION
Are you familiar with Asterix, Obelix and the brave Gauls? The Gauls were Celts – and you can now find the portal to their world at Moesgaard!
In the special exhibition ‘The Celtic World’, you walk through the skull gate into a wild and beautiful world of heroes, heroines, druids and a Halloween atmosphere.
You are perhaps also familiar with some of the fantasy stories about magical rings, portals and Patronuses – many of these stories have been inspired by the myths of the Celts.
RESEARCHER FOR A DAY
With Moesgaard Junior, children, families with children and the young at heart can play and learn about the people of the past. The laboratory covers two floors filled with archaeological tasks, mysteries and interactive games. When you put on your lab coat, you can search for answers below the surface of the sea and in the deep layers of the past.

Children and young people aged 0-17 have free admission to Moesgaard, and you can always find child-friendly food in the cafe.
